6. Prescription service
6.1 Repeat prescriptions
6.1.1 All prescription order requests received through the repeat prescription system (excluding weekends and bank holidays) each day will be submitted to the doctor’s surgery within 24 hours.
6.1.2 On average, prescriptions are collected from the surgery and assembled, ready for collection/dispatch, 5 working days after the order request first being submitted to the surgery. Please note that this is strictly an average time, based on there being no queries by the prescriber on the order request, and all prescription items being available in the pharmacy. In some cases, prescriptions may be held up at the doctor’s surgery for a variety of reasons, or there may be a supply issue with the medication from our wholesalers.
6.1.3 Regent Pharmacies Limited cannot guarantee that a prescription order request made through the repeat prescription service will result in a prescription being issued by the prescriber. Prescriptions are issued entirely at the discretion of the prescriber. It is therefore solely the responsibility of the customer to ensure that a prescription is issued by the prescriber following a request, and that all items on the order request are on the prescription. Salveo Health will make checks to ensure what you have requested is the same as what the prescriber has put on the prescription, and in the case of any discrepancies, we will try and resolves these on your behalf. We do not guarantee that we will always be able to resolve discrepancies, and the overall responsibility falls on you to ensure that all items requested are put on the prescription by the prescriber. Due to discrepancies being possible due to a number of reasons, Regent Pharmacies Limited will not notify any customers if a discrepancy is found and not resolved.
6.1.4 We are legally only able to dispense your medication once having obtained a signed prescription from your prescriber. Only those medicines on the prescription will be dispensed. If any items have not been put on the prescription by the prescriber, this is to be resolved by yourself and the prescriber.
